7. Do you have any experience with artificial intelligence or data analysis?

9. Explain what agile methodology is and why businesses should use it.

Agile methodology is a software development process that allows for quick changes and improvements to be made during the project. It’s important to understand how it works so you can effectively use it in your role as an Avanade employee.

Example: “Agile methodology is a software development process that focuses on creating solutions quickly, efficiently and with minimal waste. The goal of agile methodology is to create products that are useful and usable by customers. I’ve used this method before when working on projects where there was a tight deadline or limited resources. This allowed me to work more efficiently and meet my goals.”

10. What type of coding languages do you have experience with?

17. Give an example of a time where you were able to provide excellent service to a customer based off of their needs.

This question is a great way to show your customer service skills and how you can apply them in the workplace. When answering this question, it’s important to provide specific details about what you did for the customer and how they reacted to your actions.

Example: “I once had a client who was looking for a new website design. They were unsure of what they wanted their site to look like and asked me to create several different designs that they could choose from. I created five different designs based on their initial description of what they were looking for. After sending them over, they chose one of my designs and said they loved it. The client was very happy with the final product.”

18. If a coworker came to you complaining about another employee, how would you respond?

This question can help the interviewer assess your interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts. Your answer should show that you are willing to listen, empathize with both parties and find a solution that benefits everyone involved.

Example: “I would first make sure I understood all sides of the issue before speaking with my coworker about it. Then, I would speak with the other employee privately to understand their side of the story. If they were open to resolving the conflict, I would encourage them to talk to the other person as well. If either party was unwilling to compromise, I would try to mediate between them until an agreement could be reached.”

19. Explain how you go about troubleshooting a problem.

Troubleshooting is a key skill for any IT professional. Your answer should show the interviewer that you have the ability to solve problems and think critically.

Example: “I first try to understand what’s causing the problem, then I look at the system logs to see if there are any errors or warnings. If it’s an application issue, I check the event viewer to see if there are any issues with the application. Then I restart the computer and run the application again to see if the error persists. If the error still occurs, I’ll uninstall and reinstall the application.”

20. In regards to project management, what are some tools you use to monitor progress?

This question allows the interviewer to assess your project management skills and how well you can use tools like Microsoft Project. In your answer, describe which tools you’ve used in the past and what their benefits are.

It has many useful features such as Gantt charts, resource load diagrams and milestone tracking. These features allow me to see where my team is at in terms of meeting deadlines and objectives.”
