Use examples from past experience to explain the steps you take to estimate costs, including how you calculate food costs, venue rental fees and other expenses that may be involved in planning a banquet event.

Example: “When estimating costs for a banquet event, I first look at the number of guests we expect to have. Then, I consider what type of menu we’re serving and whether or not there will be any special entertainment planned. After these factors are considered, I can determine the cost per person for each meal and use this information to calculate the total cost of the event.”

We want to improve our customer satisfaction rates. What ideas do you have for doing so?
