How to Write a Bellman Resume

Here’s how to write a bellman resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can make your bullet points much more interesting by using them to tell a story about your work.

For example, rather than saying you “managed hotel staff,” you could say that you “managed hotel staff to reduce turnover rate by 15% in six months by creating new training program and providing ongoing feedback.”

The second bullet point is much more interesting because it provides specific details about what you did and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

As with many other roles, when you apply for a job as a bellman, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS). This system will scan your resume for specific keywords related to the position, like “valet” or “customer service.” If your resume doesn’t include enough of the right terms, the ATS might automatically reject your application.

To increase your chances of getting an interview, use this list of common bellman keywords and terms as a starting point to help you optimize your resume:
