Example: “I would like to meet with each department head within the first 30 days of my tenure to learn more about their roles and responsibilities. In addition, I’d like to develop a marketing strategy that focuses on customer satisfaction and retention.”

How do you handle change in the workplace?

As a CEO, you may need to implement change in your company. Employers ask this question to learn how you handle implementing change and the impact it has on employees. Use examples from your experience to explain how you approach change and what strategies you use to make sure it’s implemented successfully.

What are your organizational skills like?

Example: “I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing from State University. While I was there, I took several courses on digital marketing and social media management. This helped me get my first job as a social media manager at a local company where I learned how to manage all aspects of a brand’s online presence. After two years, I moved up to a senior marketing position with more responsibilities.”

Have you ever hired or fired employees before?

How do you measure the success of a business?
