How would you explain the difference between a hardware problem and a software problem to a client who is not familiar with computer terminology?

Example: “I always make sure to document my work thoroughly throughout each project I’m working on. I start by taking notes during client meetings and making sure to write down any questions they may have. Then, I create a timeline of when I expect to complete certain tasks and check in with clients regularly to provide updates. At the end of every week, I send out a progress report to my clients.”

What makes you an excellent candidate for this computer consultant position?
