Here’s how to write a data abstractor resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can make your bullet points much more interesting and compelling by using specific numbers and statistics.

For example, rather than saying you “managed data for large-scale projects,” you could say that you “managed data for 10+ projects with over 100 data points each, resulting in a 15% increase in efficiency.”

The second bullet point is much more specific and provides a clear indication of the scale of the project and the level of your involvement. It also provides a quantifiable result—a 15% increase in efficiency—which is always a good thing!

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a data abstractor role, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS).
