What are some of your favorite materials to work with when designing clothing?

This question can help the interviewer get to know you as a designer and how passionate you are about your work. Your answer should show that you enjoy working with different materials, but also highlight which ones you prefer over others.

Example: “I love working with natural fabrics like silk and wool because they’re so versatile. I find them easy to cut and sew, and they look beautiful when finished. What would you do if you saw a co-worker wearing one of your designs outside of work?

This question can help interviewers understand how you feel about your designs being worn by others. They want to know that you’re proud of your work and would be happy if someone wore one of your designs outside of work.
