3. Tell me about a time that you had to sell something, what was the most important part of the sales process for you?

This question is an opportunity to show your communication skills and ability to persuade others. When answering this question, it can be helpful to give a specific example of how you used your communication skills to convince someone to buy something or take part in an activity.

Example: “When I was working as a sales associate at a local clothing store, I had the opportunity to sell a group of teenagers on a new line of graphic tees we were carrying. The most important part of that sale for me was making sure they understood why our graphic tees were different from other brands. I showed them examples of what other customers thought about our products and explained why our company’s mission was so important to us.”

4. Do you have any experience making deliveries or working on a route?

This question is a great way to show your interviewer that you have experience working in the food industry. If you do, be sure to explain what kind of deliveries you made and how they helped prepare you for this role.

Example: “I worked as a delivery driver at my local pizza place during high school. I learned how to navigate busy streets and neighborhoods while delivering hot pizzas. This experience taught me how to work with others and manage multiple tasks at once.”

5. If hired, how do you think you can contribute to our team?

This question is an opportunity to show your enthusiasm for the position and highlight your skills, abilities and experience. When answering this question, it can be helpful to think about what you admire most about Frito-Lay as a company and how you would like to contribute to its success.

10. Describe your past customer service experience.

The hiring manager may ask this question to learn more about your past experiences and how you handled them. Use examples from previous jobs or volunteer work where you helped others.

I would typically start these projects two weeks in advance so I could give myself plenty of time to edit and publish them on schedule.”

14. Give an example of a time when you were faced with a problem that required quick action. What did you do?

This question is an opportunity to show your problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly. When answering this question, it can be helpful to provide a specific example of how you used your critical thinking skills to solve the issue.

Example: “At my last job, I was responsible for ordering supplies for our office. One day, I noticed that we were running low on staples. I immediately contacted the company who sold us our supplies to let them know about the shortage. They told me they would send more staples as soon as possible. However, by the end of the week, we still didn’t have any staples. I called the company again and asked what happened with the order. They apologized and said they had forgotten to ship the staples. I then placed another order for staples and made sure they shipped right away.”

15. What do you think is the key to providing excellent customer service?

18. Do you have a valid driver’s license?
