Here’s how to write a grant reviewer resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can make your resume more interesting by using specific numbers and metrics to quantify your contributions.

For example, rather than saying you “managed grant applications,” you could say that you “managed grant applications for $2 million in funding for nonprofit organizations in the greater Boston area.”

The second bullet point is much more specific and provides a clear sense of the scale of the project. It also provides a number that helps quantify your level of involvement in the project.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a grant reviewer position, your resume is likely to be scanned by an applicant tracking system (ATS) for certain keywords. This software looks for specific terms related to the job, like “grant writing” or “financial analysis,” in order to determine whether you have the skills and experience required for the role.
