How to Write a Handyman Resume

Here’s how to write a handyman resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can use them to tell a story about your work. For example, rather than saying you “installed light fixtures in residential homes,” you could say you “installed over 100 light fixtures in five luxury apartment buildings over the course of six months, working an average of 10 hours per day.”

The second bullet point paints a much more vivid picture of what your job entailed and the level of commitment required. And it also makes clear that you were responsible for a large-scale project.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords
