In this game, I’m usually ‘it,’ which means I get to freeze other players by tagging them. This forces me to think quickly about how to approach each player without getting tagged myself.”

7. Can you describe what a long form improv scene looks like?

This question is a great way to test your knowledge of the fundamentals of improv. Long form scenes are typically longer than short form and involve more characters, locations and plot lines. You can use this question as an opportunity to show that you understand how long-form improv works and what it looks like on stage.

Example: “Long form improv involves multiple scenes with different characters in different locations. The actors create these scenes by using their imaginations and responding to suggestions from the audience or other performers. In my last role, I was often asked to perform long-form improv scenes where I played multiple characters in a variety of settings.”

8. What are the main differences between short form and long form improv scenes?
