Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can use them to tell a story about your work. For example, rather than saying you “managed property finances,” you could say that you “reduced operating costs by 10% while increasing revenue by 15% in first year as property manager.”

The second bullet point is much more interesting and compelling because it provides specific numbers and details about what you did and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

Applicant tracking systems (ATS) are used by most companies to help manage the influx of resumes they receive for open positions. When you submit your resume, the ATS will scan it for certain keywords related to the job opening.
