If you’re applying for a lawn care worker position, you may be asked to interview for the job. Working as a lawn care professional can often require you to work with other professionals in the industry. Employers ask this question to make sure that you have experience working on a team and collaborating with others. Use your answer to explain what it was like to work with a team of professionals. Explain how you helped contribute to the success of the team.
Example: “I’ve worked alongside many different lawn care professionals throughout my career, and I find that teamwork is an important part of being successful in this field. When I first started out, I worked with a group of landscaping professionals who were more experienced than me. They taught me so much about the industry and gave me advice on how to be successful. Another thing that makes me stand out is my communication skills. I always make sure to communicate with my clients so they understand what we’re doing in their yard. This helps them feel comfortable with our work.”
This question can help the interviewer determine your level of experience with lawn care products. It can also show them which brands you prefer to use and how familiar you are with their company’s products. When answering this question, try to list as many products as possible that you have used in the past. If you’ve never worked with a specific brand before, it’s okay to say so.
