Write Compelling Bullet Points

When you’re writing bullet points, it can be tempting to simply list your responsibilities. But that’s not enough to make a strong impression. Instead, you should use your bullet points to demonstrate your impact on the organization. So rather than saying you “managed team of 10 employees,” you could say you “increased productivity by 15% in six months, leading to a $1 million increase in revenue for the year.”

The second bullet point paints a much clearer picture of what you did and the results of your work. And it provides a specific number to demonstrate the level of impact you had.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a leadership coach position, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS).
