How to Write a Network Automation Engineer Resume

Write Compelling Bullet Points

When you’re writing bullet points, it can be tempting to just list your responsibilities. But that’s not enough to make a strong impression. Instead, you should use your bullet points to demonstrate how you’ve used your skills and experience to achieve specific results.

For example, rather than saying you “managed network infrastructure for large-scale data center,” you could say you “managed network infrastructure for large-scale data center, resulting in 100% uptime for mission-critical applications during Q3 2019 outage.”

Notice how the second bullet point is more specific and provides more detail about what exactly you did and the outcome of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you submit your resume online, it goes through an applicant tracking system (ATS). This system looks for certain keywords related to the job opening. If your resume doesn’t include enough of the right terms, the ATS might filter out your application.
