Example: “I would describe my personality as energetic and outgoing. I love being around people and making them feel welcome. I’m always smiling and ready to help anyone who needs it. 4. Have you ever worked in a team environment?

This question can help the interviewer determine how you work with others and your ability to collaborate. Use examples from previous jobs or school projects that show your teamwork skills, communication abilities and problem-solving skills.

Example: “In my last job, I worked in a team of three people who were responsible for helping customers find what they needed. We had to communicate well so we could all be on the same page about which products our customers wanted to purchase. We also helped each other out when one person was busy with another customer. For example, if I was helping a customer find a certain product, but it was located at the register where my coworker was working, I would ask them to check its availability while I assisted the customer.”

5. Would you be comfortable working in retail stores and wireless kiosks?

This question is designed to determine if you have experience working in retail stores and wireless kiosks. If you do, the interviewer will want to know how comfortable you are with this type of work environment. If you don’t have any experience, they’ll want to know what kind of training you would need to get up to speed.

6. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an upset client, how did you handle the situation?

This question can help the interviewer determine how you handle conflict and whether or not you have experience dealing with difficult customers. Use examples from your previous job to highlight your problem-solving skills, communication skills and ability to diffuse a tense situation.

Example: “In my last position as an OSL retail associate, I had a customer who was upset because they couldn’t find what they were looking for in our inventory. I asked them if they could describe the item more specifically so that I could look through our system to see if we had it somewhere else. After searching through all of our inventory systems, I told them that we didn’t have the item but would be happy to order it for them.”

7. Are you willing to travel for this position?

This question can help the interviewer determine if you are willing to relocate for this position. If they ask this question, it’s likely that OSL Retail Services is looking for someone who will stay with them for a while and not just move on after a few months. Your answer should show your commitment to this job by explaining how much you enjoy traveling and working in different places.

When answering this question, try to think of something that shows off your personality while also being relatable to the job.

Example: “I love going on hikes and exploring new places. I have been hiking for years now and am always looking for new trails to conquer. I find it so relaxing to go out into nature and take in all of the beautiful sights. It’s definitely one of my favorite things to do.”

15. Can you tell us about a time when you were working on a project and there was conflict, how did you handle it?

This question is a great way to see how you handle conflict in the workplace. It’s important that your answer shows that you can work with others and resolve issues.

Example: “I was working on a project with another employee who had different ideas than I did about what we should do for the project. We disagreed quite often, but instead of letting it get to me, I talked to my manager about it. They helped us come up with a compromise so we could both be happy with the outcome.”

16. If hired, what would be your approach to being successful as a mobile expert?

This question is an opportunity to show your knowledge of the OSL Retail Services brand and how you would apply it in a customer-facing role. Your answer should include specific examples of how you have used mobile technology to help customers in the past.

They told me they wanted something sweet but not too sweet. I showed them several wines until we found one that fit their description perfectly. The customer was so happy with my service that they came back the next week.”
