4. What is your preferred method of communication when working on a team project?

5. Explain what a pump does and how it works.

6. Tell me about a time you made a mistake at work, how did you handle it?

7. Do you have any experience as a material handler?

9. Why should we hire you over someone else who is applying for this job?

12. Which CAD software are you most familiar with?

The interviewer may ask this question to determine your level of expertise with computer-aided design software. If you have experience using a specific type of CAD, share that information and explain how it helped you complete projects more efficiently.

Example: “I’ve used several different types of CAD software in my career, but I find Autodesk AutoCAD the most useful for creating designs and drawings. It’s easy to use and has many features that allow me to create detailed plans and models. 13. What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

15. Pentair encourages its employees to be innovative. When was a time that you came up with an innovative solution or idea?

Example: “I enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. I find that when I work on my own, I’m able to focus more deeply on my tasks and complete them efficiently. 19. What kind of experience do you have managing a team?

Example: “The biggest problem I see facing engineers today is that we’re not getting enough respect from other professionals and even some of our clients.
