How to Write a Phlebotomist Resume

Here’s how to write a phlebotomist resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

The best bullet points are those that are specific and descriptive. Rather than saying you “collected blood samples,” you could say you “collected blood samples for 20 patients during morning shift, averaging five minutes per sample.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific details about what you did and the results of your work. It also provides a quantifiable number, which is always a good thing.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a phlebotomist job, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS).
