How to Write a Real Estate Project Manager Resume

Here’s how to write a real estate project manager resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

When you’re writing bullet points, it can be tempting to focus on the responsibilities of your job. But that’s not enough to make a strong impression. Instead, you should focus on the results of your work.

For example, rather than saying you “managed real estate projects,” you could say that you “managed 15+ real estate projects with budgets ranging from $1 million to $10 million, resulting in zero delays and zero budget overruns.”

Notice how the second bullet point is more specific and provides more detail about the project. It also includes a quantifiable result (zero delays and zero budget overruns).

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you’re applying for a role as a real estate project manager, your resume is likely to be screened by an applicant tracking system (ATS) that looks for certain keywords related to the job. If your resume doesn’t include the right keywords, your application might not make it past the initial screening process.

To help you get noticed, we’ve put together a list of some of the most commonly used real estate project manager keywords:

Showcase Your Technical Skills

Real estate project managers need to be proficient in a variety of software programs in order to successfully track and complete their work. Programs like Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, SharePoint, and Trello are essential for project managers, as they allow them to keep track of tasks, deadlines, and progress. Additionally, real estate project managers need to be familiar with real estate-specific software programs, like Reonomy and Real Estate Express.
