How to Write a Recruitment Administrator Resume

Write Compelling Bullet Points

When you’re writing bullet points, it can be tempting to simply list your responsibilities and duties. But that’s not going to make a recruiter take notice. Instead, you should use your bullet points to tell a story about your experience. So rather than saying you “managed recruitment process for large-scale hiring initiative,” you could say you “managed recruitment process for large-scale hiring initiative, resulting in more than 500 applicants and 15 hires in six-week period.”

Notice how the second bullet point is more specific and provides more detail about what exactly you did and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

A recruiter will likely look at your resume through an applicant tracking system (ATS). This software looks for specific keywords related to the job opening. If your resume doesn’t have enough of the right terms, the ATS might automatically reject your application.
