Example: “When I’m faced with a line at the register and running low on food supplies, my first priority is to ensure that all customers are served in a timely manner. To do this, I would start by quickly assessing the situation and determining how many items each customer has in their order. This will help me determine which orders can be completed quickly so that I can move them through the line faster.

Once I have an understanding of the number of items per order, I’ll prioritize those orders that require fewer items and process them first. This way, I can get more customers through the line quicker while still providing excellent service.

If there are any items that cannot be sold due to lack of supply, I will inform the customer as soon as possible and offer alternative options if available.
