The best way to make your resume stand out is to use specific examples and numbers. So rather than saying you “managed sales team,” you could say that you “increased sales by 20% in six months by developing new training program for sales team and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific details about what you did, how you did it, and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a sales enablement manager role, your resume is likely to be scanned by an applicant tracking system (ATS) for certain keywords. This system will look for terms related to sales and marketing, like “sales process” and “cold calling.” If your resume doesn’t have enough of the right terms, the ATS might not rank it high enough to be seen by the hiring manager.
