How to Write a Salesforce Scrum Master Resume

Here’s how to write a resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. And when it comes to your bullet points, the more specific and detailed you can be, the better.

For example, rather than saying you “managed a team of developers,” you could say you “managed a team of 15 developers to develop new features for customer-facing website, resulting in a 20% increase in conversion rate within first six months.”

The second bullet point is much more specific and provides more detail about what exactly you did and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a role as a Salesforce scrum master, your resume will likely go through an applicant tracking system (ATS). This program will scan your resume for certain keywords related to the job opening. If your resume doesn’t include enough of the right terms, your application might not make it past the initial screening process.

To increase your chances of getting an interview, make sure to include keywords throughout all the sections of your resume. Here are some of the most commonly used Salesforce scrum master keywords:

  • Scrum
  • Agile Methodologies
  • Salesforce.com
  • Salesforce.com Implementation
  • Salesforce.com Development
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Salesforce.com Administration
  • Business Analysis
  • Business Process Improvement
  • Requirements Analysis
  • Oracle APEX
  • Databases
  • Apex Framework
  • Agile Project Management
  • Requirements Gathering
  • SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • JavaScript
  • AngularJS
  • jQuery
  • Oracle Database
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Oracle SQL Developer
  • Software Project Management
  • ITIL
  • IT Service Management
  • Service Delivery
  • Change Management
  • Solution Architecture

Showcase Your Technical Skills

As a Salesforce Scrum Master, you need to be proficient in the use of Salesforce and its various features. You should also have a good understanding of the Scrum framework and how it can be used to manage Salesforce projects. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have experience with other project management tools, such as Jira and Asana.
