Employers ask this question to see if you have a long-term career plan. They want to know that you are committed to their company and the position for an extended period of time. When answering, be honest about your goals. If you don’t have any specific plans, explain what you hope to achieve in your career.

Example: “My goal is to become a manager within five years. I am passionate about music and love working with people. I think I would make a great leader because I am always looking out for my team members. I also enjoy helping others develop their skills so they can advance in their careers.”

3. What is your experience with software development?
