They were happy with my solution, and I learned an important lesson about always being prepared.”

3. How do you feel about working in a fast-paced environment?

Sitel Group is a fast-paced environment, and the interviewer wants to make sure you’re comfortable with that. When answering this question, be honest about how you feel about working in a fast-paced environment. If you aren’t used to it, explain what steps you would take to adjust.

Example: “I love working in a fast-paced environment because I’m always motivated to get things done quickly. In my last job, we were constantly under pressure to meet deadlines, so I’ve gotten used to being on my toes all the time. However, I know some people prefer to work at a slower pace, so I’d like to learn more about Sitel Group’s policies for taking breaks.”

4. Do you have any previous call center experience?

Example: “At my last job, I had two coworkers who were constantly arguing about how to do their tasks. They would get into heated discussions in front of other employees, which made it difficult for everyone else to focus on their work. I talked with both of them separately and asked what they thought was causing the problem. It turned out that one employee wanted more freedom to complete her tasks while the other preferred having clear instructions. After talking through the issue, we came up with a compromise where she could choose how to complete some of her assignments.”

If they are upset or angry, it’s important to listen carefully and respond calmly. In my previous role, I had a customer who was very upset about an issue he was having with our website. He called me multiple times over the course of two days, but each time I remained calm and listened to his concerns. Eventually, we were able to resolve the issue.”

When answering this question, it’s important to show that you are comfortable with high-pressure situations. You should also explain how you stay calm under pressure.

Example: “I am very comfortable working under pressure. In my last role, I was often tasked with handling multiple projects at once. This meant I had to work quickly to meet deadlines while still producing quality work. I have found that when I focus on one task at a time, I can complete it efficiently. However, if there is something urgent, I can switch gears and get right back into the flow of things.”

18. We want our employees to be able to multitask. Can you give us an example of a time when you successfully handled multiple tasks at once?
