How to Write a SOC Analyst Resume

Here’s how to write a resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

The best way to make your resume stand out is to use specific examples and numbers. So rather than saying you “analyzed data,” you could say you “analyzed data to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the healthcare industry, resulting in a 10% increase in sales for client.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific details about what you did and the results of your work. And it also includes a quantifiable result (10% increase in sales).

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a social media analyst role, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS) that scans it for certain keywords. ATS programs rank resumes based on the number of relevant keywords that are found throughout the document. So, if you want your resume to make it past the initial screening process, it’s important to include some of the most common keywords in social media analyst roles.
