How to Write a Technical Sourcer Resume

Here’s how to write a resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most important part of your resume because they’re the only thing hiring managers will read. So it’s crucial that you use them to your advantage by highlighting your most impressive accomplishments.

For example, rather than saying you “managed recruiting process for new hires,” you could say you “managed recruiting process for new hires, resulting in a 15% increase in new hire retention rate within first year.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific numbers and details about what you did and the results of your work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a job as a technical sourcer, your resume is likely to be scanned by an applicant tracking system (ATS) for certain keywords. This system looks for terms related to the position, like “programming” or “software engineering.” If your resume doesn’t have enough of the right keywords, the ATS might not forward it to a recruiter.
