How to Write a Teller Resume

Here’s how to write a teller resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most important part of your resume because they’re the only thing hiring managers will read. So it’s crucial that you use them to your advantage by crafting clear, concise bullet points that highlight your experience and qualifications.

The best way to do this is to focus on the results of your work. So rather than saying you “managed bank accounts,” you could say you “managed bank accounts for $10M hedge fund, ensuring proper cash flow and preventing overdrafts during market downturns.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides more detail about what exactly you did and the results of your work. It also provides a specific number to demonstrate the scale of the project.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

Applicant tracking systems (ATS) are used by many companies to help manage the influx of resumes they receive. These programs scan each resume for specific keywords related to the job opening. If your resume doesn’t include enough of the right keywords, the ATS might filter out your application.
