How to Write a Test Proctor Resume

Here’s how to write a test proctor resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. And when it comes to bullet points, the more specific and detailed you can be, the better.

For example, rather than saying you “provided customer service,” you could say that you “provided customer service for 20+ customers daily via phone, email, and in-person interactions, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific details about the nature of the work you did and the number of people you worked with.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a test proctor job, your resume will likely be scanned by an applicant tracking system (ATS) for certain keywords. ATS programs rank resumes based on how many of the desired keywords are found within them. If your resume doesn’t have enough relevant keywords, the ATS might not forward it to a recruiter.

The best way to make sure your resume includes the right keywords is to read through job postings and take note of the terms that are used most frequently. Then, use those same terms when you write your resume. Here are some common test proctor keywords to get you started:

  • Teaching
  • Teamwork
