Are you comfortable working at great heights?

Of course, I always take safety precautions when working at heights. I wear all of my gear and use fall protection equipment as needed.”

What are some of the safety precautions you take when climbing a tower?

Employers ask this question to make sure you know how to keep yourself safe while working. They want to see that you have experience with the safety precautions tower climbers use and that you can explain them clearly. Use your answer to show that you understand what it takes to be a safe climber.

Example: “I always wear my harness, gloves and helmet when I’m climbing a tower. These are some of the most important pieces of equipment for keeping me safe.
