How to Write a Video Editor Resume

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. And when it comes to video editing, the more specific and detailed you can be, the better.

For example, rather than saying you “edited video content,” you could say you “edited 15-second B-roll clips for use in corporate training videos, resulting in a 10% increase in retention rates.”

The second bullet point is much more specific and provides more detail about what you did and the results of your work. And that level of detail will make all the difference when it comes time for a hiring manager to review your resume.
