How to Write a Wholesale Account Manager Resume

Here’s how to write a resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

The best bullet points are specific and descriptive. They use numbers and statistics to demonstrate your experience and accomplishments. For example, rather than saying you “managed accounts,” you could say that you “managed accounts for top-tier client, resulting in 20% increase in sales over six-month period.”

The second bullet point is much stronger because it provides specific details about the project, the results, and the timeframe. It also includes a quantifiable result (20% increase in sales).

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

When you apply for a job as a wholesale account manager, your resume is likely to go through an applicant tracking system (ATS). This program will search for certain keywords related to the job opening in order to determine whether you’re a good fit. If your resume doesn’t have enough of the right keywords, the ATS might automatically reject your application.

The best way to make sure your resume contains all of the right keywords is to read through job postings and take note of the terms that are used most frequently. Then, you can use those same terms on your resume. Here are some common keywords for wholesale account manager positions:
