An ambulance driver is responsible for driving patients to the hospital for treatment. They may also be responsible for providing medical care to patients while they are in the ambulance. Ambulance drivers must have a commercial driver’s license and a first responder certification.

2. What are your driving credentials?

Driving an ambulance requires a special license. Employers ask this question to make sure you have the proper credentials for the job. Before your interview, check with your state’s department of motor vehicles to see if you need any additional licenses or certifications to drive an ambulance. 23. Do you have any training in hazardous materials?
