3. What are some of your strengths and weaknesses?

This question is a common one in interviews, and it’s important to be honest about your strengths and weaknesses. When answering this question, think of two or three strengths you have that are relevant to the position and briefly explain how they help you succeed. Then, list two or three weaknesses and explain what steps you’ve taken to improve them.

Example: “I am an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. I find that my ability to communicate clearly and effectively helps me resolve customer issues quickly. My weakness is that sometimes I get so focused on resolving a problem that I forget to ask customers if they need anything else. To overcome this, I make sure to always ask customers if there is anything else I can do for them before ending our call.”

4. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an angry customer, how did you handle it?

5. How would you describe your management style?

Then, I would use simple language to explain how to do something or answer their questions.”

12. Do you have any experience in risk assessment?

This question can help the interviewer determine if you have experience in a similar role. If you do, they may ask you to describe your previous experiences and how they helped you develop your skills. If you don’t have any experience with risk assessment, you can talk about other ways you’ve assessed risks in the past.

Example: “In my last position as an IT security analyst, I was responsible for identifying potential threats to our company’s data and recommending solutions to mitigate those threats. This included performing regular audits of our systems to ensure that we were following best practices and maintaining secure protocols.”

13. What are two things that interest you about our company?

This question is a great way to show your interviewer that you did some research on the company and are genuinely interested in working for them. When answering this question, try to pick two things about the company that really stand out to you.

Example: “I am very impressed by ANZ’s commitment to customer service. I read an article where you stated that you would rather lose a customer than gain a new one because of poor service. 14. Have you worked in finance before? Which areas?

15. What do you know about online banking?

18. We’re looking for someone who can work independently. Would you say you’re more of an independent worker or a team player?

19. What certifications & qualifications do you have that make you right for this job?

20. Tell us about a time where you received constructive criticism, how did you respond?

When working in a customer service role, it’s important to be open to constructive criticism. This question can help the interviewer determine how you respond to feedback and whether or not you’re willing to improve your performance.

Example: “I once had a manager who gave me some constructive criticism about my phone etiquette with customers. I took his advice seriously and practiced on friends and family members until I felt comfortable speaking on the phone again. My next customer interaction went much smoother, and my manager was impressed by my progress.”
