Boost Juice Interview Process

The interview process at Boost Juice is generally quick and easy. Overall, though, most people report having a positive experience with the company’s interviewing process.

1. Tell me about a time where you showed high levels of customer service.

Boost Juice is a customer-focused company, so it’s important to show that you can provide excellent service. When answering this question, think of an example where you went above and beyond for a customer.

Example: “When I worked at my previous job as a barista, we had a regular customer who would come in every morning before work. He always ordered the same thing, but one day he came in and said he wanted something different. I offered to make him his usual drink first, then remake it with the new ingredients. He was happy with that, and I made sure to give him both drinks when he left.”

2. How would you handle an upset or angry customer?

This question is a great way to test your customer service skills. It’s important for employees at Boost Juice to be able to handle customers with care and respect, even when they’re upset or angry. When answering this question, it can be helpful to give an example of how you handled an upset or angry customer in the past.

Example: “In my last position as a barista, I had a customer who was upset because she didn’t get her coffee fast enough. She started yelling at me and demanding that I make her another one immediately. Instead of getting upset, I calmly apologized and told her that I would remake her coffee right away. After making her coffee, I also gave her a free pastry to apologize for the inconvenience.”

3. What do you think are the most important qualities for someone working in retail?

This question is a great way to show your understanding of the industry and how you can be an asset to Boost Juice. When answering, think about what skills you have that would help you succeed in this role.

Example: “I believe communication and customer service are two of the most important qualities for someone working in retail. I am always friendly and willing to go above and beyond for customers because I know it’s the only way to make them happy. In my last job, I was often complimented on my excellent communication skills with both customers and coworkers.”

4. When was the last time you were able to give great customer service?

This question is a great way to show your interviewer that you are passionate about customer service and can provide excellent service. When answering this question, it’s important to give an example of when you went above and beyond for a customer or helped someone in need.

Example: “When I worked at my previous job as a barista, there was a regular customer who would come into the coffee shop every morning before work. One day, she came in and told me that her usual order wasn’t tasting right. She said she didn’t want to get sick from drinking our coffee. I offered to remake her drink for free and made sure everything tasted okay. After that, she became one of our most loyal customers.”

5. Do you have any experience using a blender and making smoothies/juices?

This question is asked to determine if you have any experience using a blender and making smoothies or juices. If you do, the interviewer will want to know how often you used it and what your favorite recipes were.

Example: “I’ve never worked in a retail store that sold smoothies or juice before, but I did work at a restaurant where we made fresh fruit smoothies every day. We had a large blender that could make multiple drinks at once, so I was responsible for blending all of the ingredients together. My favorite recipe was one with strawberries, bananas, blueberries and raspberries.”

6. Give an example of when your team worked together well and achieved success.

When answering this question, it can be helpful to highlight your communication skills and ability to work with others. When you answer this question, try to focus on a time when you worked as part of a team that achieved success in a professional setting.

We had a lot of responsibilities, but we also had to collaborate with each other often. One day, one of our computers went down, so we had to figure out how to get everyone’s computer up and running again. It took us about an hour to do everything, but we managed to get everything back online.”

7. Are you familiar with Boost Juice products? Which one is your favorite and why?

This question is a great way to test your knowledge of the company and its products. It also gives you an opportunity to show off your personality by sharing which smoothie or juice you like best.
