This question can help the interviewer determine if you have experience working with customers in a customer service role. Use your answer to highlight any skills or experiences that relate to this position and how they might benefit you in it.

Example: “I’ve worked as a barista for five years, so I’m used to interacting with many different types of people on a daily basis. I also work at a local coffee shop where we offer free Wi-Fi, so I often assist guests who need assistance using their devices while they’re waiting for their drinks. In both cases, I try to be friendly and helpful, which has helped me develop my communication and problem-solving skills.”

2. Do you have any experience in sales?

This question is asked to determine if you have any experience in a sales role. If you do, the interviewer will want to know how your previous job duties relate to this position. If you don’t have experience in sales, explain what skills you possess that are similar to those of a salesperson.

Example: “I’ve never worked in a sales role before, but I am very outgoing and enjoy talking with people. In my previous job as a server at a restaurant, I learned how to interact with customers and make them feel comfortable. This skill helped me learn how to read customer needs and provide excellent service.”

3. Why do you think you are a good fit for Carnival Cruise Line?

This question is a great way for the interviewer to learn more about your background and how you came to apply for this position. 4. Can you tell me about a time when you had to deal with an upset customer, what did you do?

Example: “I had a situation with a customer once who was upset because they didn’t get their order right at a restaurant. I listened to what they had to say and apologized for the inconvenience. Then, I offered them a free dessert as compensation. They seemed satisfied with that and left happy.”

This experience has helped me become more confident in my communication skills.”

However, I understand there can be some challenges when traveling internationally. For example, I know that communication can be a challenge at times.
