Example: “I once worked with someone who was very critical of my work. I found out later that they were just trying to help me improve my skills. 3. How would you approach an issue that is outside of your expertise?

4. What are the top three things you look for in a company when deciding where to apply?

Finally, I’m hoping to find a place where I can use my skills and talents to make an impact.”

5. Why are you interested in working here?

Employers ask this question to learn more about your background and why you are applying for a specific position. In your answer, explain what aspects of the job or company interest you most.

13. Why should we hire you over other candidates?

Employers ask this question to learn more about your confidence and self-awareness. They want to know that you have the skills, experience and knowledge to do the job well. When answering this question, make sure to highlight your most relevant qualifications for the position. You can also mention any unique or transferable skills you possess.

Example: “I am a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. I am always willing to go above and beyond to help my clients. My previous employer recognized these qualities in me and promoted me twice within three years of working there. I believe that my dedication and commitment to excellence would be beneficial to Cicero Group.”

14. How would you define good customer service?

This question is a great way to assess your customer service skills. It also allows you to show the interviewer how you would apply those skills in their company. When answering this question, it can be helpful to define what good customer service means to you and give an example of when you provided that level of service to a client or employer.

15. Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated leadership skills?

Leadership skills are important for any position in the marketing industry. Employers ask this question to see if you have experience leading a team and how well you can work with others. When answering, think of an example that shows your leadership skills but also highlights your teamwork abilities.

Example: “When I was working at my previous company, we had a new client who needed help creating their social media strategy. They were unsure what they wanted to do on each platform and didn’t know where to start. I volunteered to lead the project because I knew all of the different platforms and could create a plan that would be beneficial for them. My teammates helped me by researching the best practices for each platform and helping me come up with ideas for our campaign.”

16. What kind of people do you find most difficult to work with?

This question can help the interviewer determine how you handle conflict and whether you’re willing to work with a variety of personalities. When answering this question, it can be helpful to mention a specific personality type or trait that you find challenging and explain why it’s difficult for you. It can also be beneficial to mention what you do to overcome these challenges.

Example: “I find people who are very critical of others to be the most difficult to work with. I understand that constructive criticism is important, but when someone is constantly criticizing others without offering solutions, it makes it hard to collaborate effectively. 17. Tell us about a time where you made a mistake while working on a project. How did you fix it?

This question is a great way to show your problem-solving skills and how you learn from mistakes. When answering this question, it can be helpful to talk about a mistake that was not too serious but still required some thought to fix.

Example: “When I first started working at Cicero Group, I made the mistake of sending an important email to the wrong person. Luckily, the recipient let me know right away so I could send them the correct information. To prevent this from happening again, I created a rule in my email program so that all emails sent to clients would automatically go into a folder. This helped me stay organized while also preventing any future mix-ups.”

18. What do you consider to be your biggest weakness?

19. What has been your greatest accomplishment so far?

This question is a great way to learn more about your potential new colleague. It allows you to share something that’s meaningful to you and gives the interviewer insight into what motivates you. When answering this question, it can be helpful to think of an accomplishment that relates to the job you’re interviewing for.

Example: “My greatest professional accomplishment was when I helped my team win a client back from our competitor. We had lost the account due to some miscommunication on our part, but I worked with my team to create a plan to win them back. After several meetings with the client, we were able to show them how much we valued their business and they returned to us.”

20. What is one thing you want to accomplish at Cicero Group?

This question is a great way for the interviewer to get an idea of your goals and aspirations. It also allows them to see if you have any ideas that align with their own vision for Cicero Group.
