Behavioral health directors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a behavioral health facility. As such, it’s important to include specific examples of how you’ve done this in your resume.

For example, you could write a bullet point that says “managed staff of 50+ employees” and then follow it up with a bullet point that says “increased employee retention rate from 65% to 90% over two years.”

This is much stronger than saying you “managed staff” because it provides specific numbers and details about how you managed the staff. And it also provides a specific result of your work—an increased employee retention rate.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords
