Fiber optics are becoming increasingly important as we move toward a more digital world. Fiber optic cables are used to transmit data at high speeds and are found in a variety of settings, from the internet to cable TV. As a fiber technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing these cables.
