The Job Size component is the relative effort estimation provided by the development team, such as story points.

An item with a high Cost of Delay and a low Job Size will yield a high WSJF score, making it a top priority. This method is effective in environments where continuous delivery and maximizing economic output are the primary concerns. It provides a transparent, quantitative rationale for prioritizing smaller, faster items over large, complex ones.

RICE Scoring Model
