How to Write a KFC Team Member Resume

Here’s how to write a resume of your own.

Write Compelling Bullet Points

Bullet points are the most effective way to showcase your experience and qualifications. But rather than simply listing your responsibilities, you can make your bullet points much more interesting and compelling by using specific details and numbers.

For example, rather than saying you “managed inventory for restaurant,” you could say that you “reduced inventory costs by 15% by negotiating better deals with suppliers and implementing new inventory management system.”

The second bullet point is much more interesting and provides a clear sense of the candidate’s responsibilities and the results of their work.

Identify and Include Relevant Keywords

Chances are, when you submit your resume to a fast food restaurant, it will be scanned by an applicant tracking system (ATS) for certain keywords. This software looks for certain terms related to the job, like “customer service” or “team player,” in order to determine whether you have the right skills and experience for the position. If your resume doesn’t include enough of the right keywords, the ATS might discard your application before a human ever sees it.

To make sure your resume makes it past the ATS, use this list of common KFC team member keywords as a starting point:
