4. Do you have any experience working in a team environment?

They said yes, so I went back through all of our content and added relevant hashtags and links.”

7. When was the last time you had to deal with a difficult customer or situation?

This question can help interviewers understand how you handle conflict and pressure. Use examples from your previous experience to highlight your problem-solving skills, communication abilities and ability to work under stress.

Example: “In my last position as a customer service representative for an insurance company, I had a client who was upset about the price of their policy. They were looking for ways to lower it without changing any of their coverage options. After listening to them explain their situation, I realized that they could save money by switching to a different plan with fewer benefits but a much lower monthly rate. This helped me show them how we could meet their needs while also saving them money.”

8. We are looking for engineers that can think outside the box. Can you give us an example of a time where you came up with a creative solution to a problem?

This question is an opportunity to show your problem-solving skills and creativity. When answering this question, it can be helpful to describe a time when you used your engineering knowledge to solve a unique challenge.

Example: “At my last job, I was working on a project that required me to use a specific type of material for the construction. However, there were no suppliers in our area that carried that particular material. Instead of giving up, I contacted other engineers who worked with similar materials and asked them if they knew where we could find some. They gave me several leads, and I was able to find a supplier that had what we needed.”

9. If hired, what would be your approach to designing a new structure?

This question is an opportunity to show your creativity and problem-solving skills. You can describe the steps you would take to design a new structure, including how you would gather information about the client’s needs and what materials you would use.

14. What is your experience with design and construction documents?

It’s important for the interviewer to know that you have experience working with these documents and can understand them when they’re presented to you. When answering this question, it’s best to describe a time when you had to work with design or construction documents and how you managed the process.

Example: “In my last position as an architectural designer, I was responsible for creating construction documents for clients. This included developing floor plans, elevations, sections and details. I also worked with engineers on developing structural drawings and other related documents. My team and I would meet regularly to discuss any changes we needed to make to our designs based on client feedback.”

15. What do you know about KPFF’s company culture?

17. What do you know about KPFF’s history?

KPFF is a radio station that has been broadcasting for over 50 years. The interviewer may ask this question to see if you know about the company’s history and how it fits into the community. To answer this question, you can describe what you know about KPFF’s past and why you think it’s important.

Example: “I’ve listened to KPFF since I was in high school, so I have some knowledge of its history. 18. What kinds of classes have you taken during your education?
