Luxottica Interview Process

The interview process at Luxottica is generally pretty straightforward. 1. How do you deal with a difficult customer?

Luxottica is a company that sells eyewear to customers of all ages. As such, you may encounter some challenging situations with your clients. Your answer should show the interviewer how you can remain calm and professional when faced with difficult people.

Example: “I have had to deal with many different types of customers in my previous roles. I find it best to listen carefully to what they are saying and try to understand their concerns. If they are upset or angry, I take a deep breath and remind myself that this person is not acting rationally. I then explain to them calmly why I am unable to meet their demands. This usually diffuses the situation.”

2. Why should Luxottica hire you over someone else?

Employers ask this question to see if you have the confidence and self-awareness to sell yourself. They want to know that you are aware of your strengths, but also that you’re humble enough to admit your weaknesses. 3. Tell me about your work style and how it will fit in at Luxottica.

11. If a customer was being rude to you would you walk away or confront them.

This question is a test of your customer service skills. It’s important to be polite and respectful to customers, even if they’re not being the same way toward you. Your answer should show that you value the customer experience and will do whatever it takes to make sure each person who comes into the store has a positive experience.

Example: “I would try my best to walk away from the situation. However, if I felt like the customer was getting out of hand or starting to cause harm to other people in the store, then I would confront them. If they were still rude after that, I would call for security.”

12. Do you prefer working in retail or customer service and why?

This question is a great way to learn more about your potential co-workers and how they feel about their jobs. It can also help you decide if this company is the right fit for you. When answering, try to focus on what you enjoy most about working in retail or customer service.

Example: “I love helping customers find exactly what they’re looking for. I’m very good at finding things quickly, which makes me a valuable asset when someone needs something specific. 13. Are you comfortable selling products that cost hundreds of dollars?

19. Would you be willing to travel if necessary?

Luxottica is a global company, so you may be asked to travel for work. Employers ask this question to make sure you’re willing to do so and how often you’d expect to travel. Before your interview, think about the amount of traveling you’ve done in previous jobs. Consider what kind of schedule you can handle and if you have any concerns or questions about it.

Before your interview, make sure you read through the job description thoroughly. Review the qualifications and skills they are looking for in a candidate. Make note of any similarities between your own background and experience and those listed in the job listing.

Example: “I applied for this position because I am passionate about eyewear and helping others see clearly. When I was younger, my parents took me to an optometrist who helped me get prescription glasses. Ever since then, I have been interested in the field of vision care. After researching Luxottica, I learned that you provide eye exams at no cost to children. This is something I would love to do as part of my career.”
