Example: “If I was unable to provide information requested by a customer, I would first apologize and explain that I am unable to access the data they are requesting. Then, I would offer to speak with my manager about finding a way to get the information to the customer as soon as possible. If there is no other way to get the information to the customer, I would try to find another solution such as offering them a discount on their next purchase.”

3. What do you know about OSIsoft’s products and services?

This question is a great way for the interviewer to assess your knowledge of OSIsoft’s products and services. It also helps them determine whether you have any experience with their software. 7. When working in a team environment, what is your preferred role?

I then used this timeline to break down the project into smaller tasks so I could focus on one task at a time.”

12. Describe a time that you struggled to communicate with someone on your team, how did you resolve it?

Communication is an important skill for any role in IT. Your interviewer may ask this question to assess your communication skills and how you resolve conflicts with others. In your answer, try to describe a specific situation where you had difficulty communicating with someone on your team and the steps you took to resolve it.

14. Do you prefer to work alone or as part of a team? Why?

Example: “I enjoy working both alone and as part of a team. I find that when I’m working on my own, I have more time to think through problems and develop solutions. 15. Can you describe a time when you took initiative to solve a problem in the workplace?

19. Have you ever taken a product design class?
