Picnic Interview Process

1. What is your experience with customer service?

Customer service is an important part of any job, and employers want to know that you have experience in this area. If you don’t have direct customer service experience, consider describing a time when you helped someone else with their needs.

Example: “I worked as a barista for two years while I was going to school, and my primary responsibility was making coffee drinks. However, I also had the opportunity to help customers who needed assistance finding something or wanted to ask me questions about our menu. I always made sure to be friendly and helpful, and I learned how to multitask so I could provide excellent customer service while still completing my other tasks.”

2. How would you handle a situation where a customer was unhappy with the service they received?

This question can help interviewers understand how you handle conflict and whether or not you have the ability to resolve it. When answering this question, try to focus on your problem-solving skills and highlight any past experiences that helped you overcome a challenging situation with a customer.

Example: “I once had a patient who was unhappy with their treatment because they felt like I didn’t spend enough time with them during their appointment. 3. Describe how you prioritize tasks when working on multiple projects at once.

This question can help an interviewer understand how you manage your time and complete tasks efficiently. Use examples from previous work experiences to explain how you plan out your schedule, organize projects and meet deadlines.

Example: “In my last role as a medical records clerk, I worked with multiple patients at once while also managing the information they provided in their medical history forms. I learned that it’s important to prioritize which tasks need to be completed first so I could ensure all of the necessary information was recorded accurately. This helped me stay organized and ensured I met all of my deadlines.”

4. Do you have any experience working in a team environment?

Working in a team environment is an important skill for many positions, including those in the medical field. Employers may ask this question to see if you have experience working with others and how well you collaborate. In your answer, try to explain what made your previous teams successful.

Example: “I’ve worked in a team setting since I started my career as a nurse’s aide. My first job was at a hospital where I worked alongside other nurses and doctors. We all had different roles but we also collaborated on patient care. I find that teamwork makes any task more manageable. When everyone has their own strengths, it allows us to work together to provide excellent care.”

5. If hired, what qualities do you think you could bring to our organization?

6. Are you comfortable being outdoors and walking long distances while carrying food items?

9. We want our employees to be able to work independently. Do you think you would be a good fit for that type of environment?
