The Trulieve interview process is known to be quite competitive, so you’ll need to be prepared to answer some tough questions. In this article, we’ve gathered a list of sample Trulieve interview questions to help you prepare for your interview.

Trulieve Interview Process

The interview process at Trulieve can vary depending on the position you are applying for. For some positions, like Patient Consultant, the process is fairly straightforward and consists of a phone screen followed by an in-person or Skype interview. For other positions, like Dispensary Associate, the process may be more involved and include a phone screen, an in-person interview, and a background check. Overall, the interview process is generally quick and easy, with most applicants being offered a job within a few weeks of applying.

1. How do you feel about working in the medical marijuana industry?

The interviewer may ask this question to see if you have any reservations about working in the medical marijuana industry. They want to know that you are committed to your job and understand the responsibilities of working for a company like Trulieve. In your answer, try to show enthusiasm for the position and highlight why you’re excited to work at Trulieve.

2. Do you have any experience with customer service?

7. Have you ever worked at a dispensary before?

8. Tell me about a time when you had to handle an upset or angry patient. How did you handle it?

9. Which shift are you available to work?

Trulieve is a 24-hour dispensary, so they need employees who are available to work any shift. They ask this question to make sure you’re flexible enough to work their hours. Before your interview, check out the schedule and find out which shifts are available. If you have no availability on those days, let them know what times you can work.

13. What can you tell us about Trulieve’s mission statement?

They want to help their patients live happier, healthier lives by offering them high-quality products at affordable prices.”

14. Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond for a customer.

This question is a great way to show your dedication and passion for helping others. When answering this question, it can be helpful to think of a specific situation where you went above and beyond for a customer or client.

Example: “When I worked at my previous job, we had a customer who was looking for a certain strain of cannabis that wasn’t available in our store. I researched other dispensaries in the area and found one that carried the strain they were looking for. I drove over an hour to pick up the strain so that I could deliver it to them later that day. They were very happy with my service and told me how much they appreciated what I did.”

15. Describe how you would help a new employee get acclimated to their role.

16. In your opinion, what makes a good leader?

This question can help the interviewer determine your leadership skills and how you would apply them to a management role. Use examples from your past experience that show you have strong leadership qualities, such as communication, problem-solving or decision-making skills.

Example: “A good leader is someone who can motivate their team members while also being approachable. I think it’s important for leaders to be able to listen to others’ ideas and opinions and use those to make decisions. 17. What qualities do you think make someone successful in sales?

Example: “I think one of the most important qualities is being able to connect with people. I enjoy talking to customers about our products, answering their questions and helping them find what they’re looking for. Another quality I think makes someone successful in sales is having empathy. It’s important to me that I understand my customer’s needs so I can provide them with information and solutions that meet those needs.”

18. Do you have experience handling money and operating a cash register?

Trulieve is a medical marijuana dispensary, so the interviewer may want to know if you have experience handling cash and other financial transactions. If you do, share your previous experience with this type of work. If not, explain that you are willing to learn how to handle money and operate a register.

Example: “I worked as a barista for two years at a coffee shop where I had to make change for customers and count my drawer at the end of each shift. I also worked in retail for five years, so I am familiar with operating a cash register.”

19. Can you tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult person or situation?

Employers ask this question to see how you handle conflict. They want to know that you can remain calm and professional when faced with a challenging situation. In your answer, try to highlight your problem-solving skills and ability to diffuse tense situations.

Example: “When I worked at my previous job, we had a customer who was very upset about the wait time for their medication. The patient called multiple times in one day to complain, which made it difficult for us to focus on other patients. I spoke with the patient over the phone and explained our process for handling orders. I also offered to deliver the order early if they were willing to pay an additional fee. The patient agreed, and we delivered the order before the scheduled delivery date.”

20. Do you have any questions for us?

This question is your opportunity to show the interviewer that you have done your research on Trulieve and are interested in working for them. It’s also a chance to learn more about the company, so make sure you ask questions that will help you understand what it’s like to work there.
