GroupM is the world’s largest media investment management company. The company is made up of a collective of global media agencies including Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, and Essence.

If you’re interviewing for a job at GroupM, you can expect to be asked a variety of questions about your experience, skills, and knowledge of the media industry. To help you prepare, we’ve gathered a list of sample GroupM interview questions and answers.

GroupM Interview Process

The interview process at GroupM can vary depending on the position you are applying for. In my previous position, I was responsible for managing our brand on these sites, so I know what strategies work best. I’m excited to use my expertise to help GroupM expand its reach.”

4. Do you have any professional certifications?

Employers may ask this question to see if you have any certifications that are relevant to the position. If they don’t mention which certifications they’re looking for, it’s a good idea to research what certifications their company offers and whether you qualify.

Example: “I am currently working on my Certified GroupM Professional certification. I plan to complete it by the end of next month. 5. Describe a time when you had to manage multiple projects at once, how did you handle it?

7. What is your experience working with clients?

This question can help the interviewer understand your experience with clients and how you interact with them. You may have worked with clients in a previous role, or you might be looking for your first opportunity to work with clients. Consider what skills you’ve developed that helped you succeed when working with clients.

Example: “In my last position as an account manager, I was responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring they were happy with our services. 11. What would you say has been your greatest achievement so far?

I’ve worked at companies before where there was competition between coworkers, which made the workday stressful. In my last position, we had weekly meetings where we discussed our progress on projects and asked for advice from others when needed. This helped us all get along and feel like part of a team.”

16. Have you ever worked on a project that didn’t go well? What went wrong?

This question can help employers understand how you respond to challenges and learn from your mistakes. When answering, it can be helpful to focus on a specific example of a project that didn’t go well and explain what you learned from the experience.

Example: “In my last role as an account executive, I was tasked with creating a campaign for a new client. Example: “I would like to learn as much as I can about GroupM and its clients. I’d also like to become proficient in all aspects of digital marketing so that I can help develop strategies that will increase revenue and client satisfaction.”

18. Do you have experience creating budgets for campaigns?

19. What would you say is your biggest weakness?

Employers ask this question to see how you handle a negative situation. They want to know that you can be honest about your weaknesses and use them as opportunities for growth. When answering, try to think of something that is not too detrimental to your career or personal life.

Example: “My biggest weakness is my attention to detail. I am always looking for ways to improve in this area, but it’s just one of those things where I have to work harder than others to make sure everything is done correctly. In the past, I’ve used software programs to help me with organization and time management. This has helped me become more efficient at work.”

20. What would you do if you found out another employee was not following company policy?

This question can help the interviewer assess your ability to follow company policy and procedures. It can also show how you would handle a situation that could negatively impact the team or organization as a whole. In your answer, try to highlight your commitment to following policies and procedures while also showing your willingness to address issues with your coworkers in a professional manner.

Example: “If I found out another employee was not following company policy, I would first make sure I understood what specific policy they were breaking. Then, I would talk to them about it privately to see if there was an explanation for their actions. If they still weren’t following policy, I would document the incident and report it to my supervisor so they could take appropriate action.”
