Provide an example of a time when you identified and resolved a financial issue within your department.

Example: “At my last job, I noticed a discrepancy between two of our cash registers one night when I was doing my rounds. They were able to speak with the employee right away and resolve the situation by counting out the missing money.”

If a co-worker was not following company policies, how would you address the issue?

Example: “The first thing I look for when reviewing a ledger is any missing information, such as receipts or deposits. If there are no issues with the documentation, then I check the math.
