For example, rather than saying you “conducted research on cardiovascular disease,” you could say you “conducted research on cardiovascular disease in collaboration with cardiologists to identify risk factors and develop new treatments for hypertension.”
The second bullet point is much more specific and provides more detail about what exactly you did and who you did it with.
