You can activate your Milestone Mastercard online, by phone, or through the mobile app. The fastest method for most people is calling the number printed on the sticker attached to your new card, but all three options take just a few minutes.
Activate by Phone
The most straightforward way to activate your Milestone card is to call the phone number on the sticker or label that came with your card. Have the card in front of you, because you’ll be asked to enter or confirm the full card number, the expiration date, and the three-digit security code on the back. You’ll also need to verify your identity, typically by entering your Social Security number or answering a few security questions.
If the sticker is missing or you’ve already discarded the packaging, you can reach Milestone’s customer service line at 1 (800) 224-4960. Enter your Social Security number when prompted, and you’ll be connected to a representative who can walk you through activation. Concora Credit, the company behind the Milestone card, also lists 866-502-6439 as a general support number.
Activate Online
You can also activate your card through your online account. Go to the Milestone card website and log in with the credentials you created when you were approved. If you haven’t set up an online account yet, you’ll need to register first using your card number and personal details. Once logged in, look for the activation prompt, which typically appears on your dashboard as soon as the system detects a new card that hasn’t been used yet.
Keep your physical card nearby during this process. You’ll need to confirm the card number, security code, and possibly the last four digits of your Social Security number to complete activation.
Activate Through the Mobile App
The Milestone card is managed under the Concora Credit umbrella, so the official app is called the Concora Credit App, not the Milestone app. It’s available on both the App Store and Google Play. Download it, log in with the same credentials you’d use for the website, and follow the activation steps from there.
Beyond activation, the app lets you track payments, view statements, and monitor your available credit, so it’s worth setting up even if you prefer to activate by phone.
What You’ll Need to Activate
- Your physical card: the full 16-digit card number, expiration date, and three-digit CVV on the back
- Your Social Security number (or at least the last four digits)
- Your online account credentials if activating online or through the app
If Activation Isn’t Working
Double-check that you’re entering the card number exactly as it appears on the front of your card, with no extra spaces or transposed digits. The security code is the three-digit number on the back, not the four-digit number some other card networks use. If the system still won’t accept your information, the most common causes are a mismatch between the personal details on file and what you’re entering, or a delay in the card being registered in the system after mailing.
When the automated system can’t resolve the issue, call customer service directly at 1 (800) 305-0330 or 1 (800) 224-4960 and ask to speak with a representative. They can verify whether there’s a hold or error on your account and complete the activation manually. Keep in mind that if your card arrived damaged or the numbers are unreadable, you may need a replacement card before activation can go through.
Your card won’t work for purchases until activation is complete, so don’t try to use it at a store or online retailer before finishing the process. Once activated, it’s ready to use immediately.
